Umeh Richard Onyeka, widely known as Papaye or Big Paps, is making waves in the Afrobeat and R&B music scene. Raised in Oyo State, Nigeria, Papaye's musical roots trace back to his early years, shaped by his father's passion for music. Inspired by Afrobeats icons like Wizkid, Rema, and Davido, Papaye's unique blend of infectious rhythms and personal flair sets him apart.

Transitioning officially into the music industry in 2023, Papaye's rise has been marked by captivating performances at local talent shows and events. 

Despite his musical pursuits, Papaye remains dedicated to his education, currently studying Animal Physiology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (Funaab).
